Unique

I struggle with things just like we all do, but I want to use my struggles to help others. I hope you are encouraged by knowing you are not alone.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been obsessed with a certain YouTube channel. There’s nothing wrong with the channel, but I made it an idol. I found myself trying to be like the youtuber and I started comparing my life to hers.

God spoke to my heart and has been convicting me about this. When we spend countless minutes seeing how we can become like someone else, we become unhappy with the life God has given to us. He wants us to use our time much more wisely than using it to chase after the world. He created us to be unique. We aren’t supposed to look like people living for selfish pleasures.

Thankfully, God doesn’t leave us to take on hard things alone. He offers us His loving and helping hand. We just have to reach out and grab it. Our Father knows we will fail Him so much, but He already tells us that He will give us grace and forgiveness.

Let’s be more adventurous in our relationships with God. I want a “fresh fire” to stir in my heart and revive me. We never have to settle or be satisfied with where we are at in our relationships with Jesus. He desires for us to thirst for more. God has so much in store for our lives. We just have to keep pursuing Him each day. Keep your head up today and allow God to take over every aspect of your life!
