Planted in Faith // The Chase Giveaway

Elisabeth Elliot once said, “Don’t dig up in doubt what you planted in faith.”

Yesterday, those words convicted me as I saw them posted on my sister’s Instagram story.

I have been resting in holy confidence that God will have His perfect timing with a desire of my heart. Recently, the enemy has tried to use other people or things to discourage me from believing my desire will come to fruition. I have been tempted to dig up in doubt what I had planted in faith.

What have you planted in faith? Is it a relationship, dream, hope, plan, desire, hobby, or job?

Philippians 1:6 brings me so much joy. It says, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Nothing in all of creation can stop or stand in the way of the plans God has for our lives.

God is King. He is our Father. He wants what is best for us. He isn’t going to let His righteous children be shaken. He gives us mercy and grace daily. Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. He opens up and closes doors for us, and He has already walked where we are heading.

Waiting on God’s timing and continuing to have faith is not popular, but it is powerful and most rewarding.

I want to share two important quotes with you!

1. “God leaves His best for those who leave the choice with Him.” -Mary Kate Robertson

2. “Those who leave everything in God’s hand will eventually see God’s hand in everything.” -Author Unknown

Whenever we are watering seeds and waiting to see beautiful blooms, we must continue to water the seeds with patience knowing that beauty is about to be visible.

Instead of experiencing seasons of waiting, we are experiencing seasons of preparation.

To share something special with you this Valentine’s Day, I decided to do a giveaway!

About two years ago, I read The Chase by Kyle and Kelsey Kupecky. I read it in almost one night and since then, I have wanted to buy a copy of it for every girl I know! Kyle and Kelsey wrote from their hearts and own experiences. They teach girls to invest into their personal relationships with God, to respect themselves, to treasure their purity, to pray for their future husbands, and to use their seasons of preparation to focus solely on God.
