This past week, I was asked to speak in front of our whole church. It was something completely outside of my comfort zone. I knew that Jesus had opened the door of opportunity for me so I couldn’t just close it. Through this experience, God has taught me a few lessons that I want to share with you.
1. Don’t limit the ways God can use you.
We all have things we’re good at and enjoy doing, but we also usually neglect what comes hard. God wants us to do more than what’s easy. He wants us to exercise, and get better in every aspect of our lives so that we can give Him the glory.
2. Jesus was publicly humiliated and crucified for us.
Why aren’t we more motivated to share the good news of everything God did, has done, and is doing in our lives?
3. He makes us brave.
What is holding you back from living out your purpose? Whatever it is, Jesus wants to set you free from it. He will call you out to do things you won’t be able to handle on your own. With God’s Strength, Presence, and Peace, we can be strong and brave!
