There’s a person that we all have in our lives. The one who doesn’t have the nicest clothes and doesn’t smell or behave like we do. We could easily ignore this person, but we are called to do so much more than that.
We’re called to make love a verb rather than a noun. We must spread kindness everywhere we go through our words, actions, and lives. We should also practice humility by putting other’s needs before our own, not caring about being made fun of. By listening to what others have to say and by being present in their lives, we offer friendship and a caring atmosphere. There is no greater way to lead people to the greatest Love than by showing them what Love really looks like.
Who were you thinking about while reading this? I challenge you to look for opportunities to show them Love this week. You shine bright, my friend! Never stop loving or serving those around you!
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” -Matthew 25:40
“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”” -Mark 12:31
