Loving Deeply

There’s a person that we all have in our lives. The one who doesn’t have the nicest clothes and doesn’t smell or behave like we do. We could easily ignore that person, but we are called to do so much more than that.

We’re called to make love a verb rather than a noun. To spread kindness everywhere we go through our words, actions, and lives. To practice humility by putting other’s needs before our own, not caring about being made fun of. We should offer friendship and let people know we care about them through listening to what they have to say and by being present. There is no greater way to lead people to the greatest Love than by showing them what Love really looks like.

This week I want to challenge you to look for opportunities each day to spread love to the people in your life you were thinking of while reading this. You shine bright, my friend! Never stop loving or serving those around you!

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” -Matthew‬ ‭25:40‬

“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”” -Mark‬ ‭12:31‬
