The 40 Day Prayer Challenge

People read books more often than they meet authors.

In Day 2 of his book Draw the Circle, Mark Batterson says, “The right book in the right hands at the right time can save a marriage, avert a mistake, plant a seed, conceive a dream, solve a problem, and prompt a prayer.”

God opened my eyes to a special reality after reading that quote.

Just as a writer is the true force behind a book, so is God behind us!

Jesus is the Creator, Artist, and Writer behind everything that has ever existed, is existing, or will ever exist.

As humans, we are made in God’s image. The King of the World gave us His characteristics. We were created on purpose for a purpose by God.

Because we are His, we are living books pointing others to our Author.

Readers can learn more about our Author through the way we live our lives.

Are we emitting and overflowing with God’s light?

Are the pages of our lives reflecting our Author?

I challenge and encourage you to join me in The 40 Day Prayer Challenge!

My friend, Katee, just finished it. I believe and know it was a challenge to her, but God revealed Himself in so many new ways! Living Faith (Katee’s blog) actually was started around the time Katee was doing The 40 Day Prayer Challenge.

Today was Day 2 for me, and I am already learning so much. I’m extremely grateful God sees me as a work in progress, and constantly brings me to Himself.

If you’re interested in doing the challenge with me, here is where I ordered my copy! It is currently on sale! Please let me know if you would like to do this together!

Thankful for each of you,

Haley
