Know Him Personally

In a Christian setting, most people will claim to know Jesus, but do they really know Him personally or just Who He is?

Knowing Who Jesus is can be heard about through many different ways. Do we, as believers, display His characteristics in a positive way? Is our faith like the church of Colossae that Paul mentions in the book of Colossians?

Their faith was not just known, but also talked about between people they had never met. That’s how impactful their love for God was.

Often times, we don’t think about all of the situations, people, or prayers that God allowed in our lives just for the purpose of us coming to believe in Him.

Love isn’t really love if it’s forced, and Jesus desires to be loved freely.

There is someone I have prayed for many many times. I desire their salvation, and for them to experience true freedom and pleasure through having a personal relationship with Jesus.

Jesus whispered a message to my heart. “I want him and love him. He has to choose Me.”

Jesus has done His part in making the way for our salvation. Will or have you accepted His gift? If you’re struggling with doubt or confusion, please talk to someone who you trust and who has a personal relationship with God. I’m always here if you need someone to talk to also.

One of my life verses is 2 Timothy 1:7. Let it give you peace tonight.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Leave fear, worry, anxiety, and doubt with Jesus. He already took all of those things on Himself so you wouldn’t have to. I challenge you to break down Colossians 3:12. Always remember that you’re wanted and loved.
